But I bet you already have a unit that’s why you are here and searching for a way on how to root the Cherry Mobile Titan, am I right? Well, here’s the no sweat procedure. Thanks to yankee of symb.ph for sharing this.

Rooting Cherry Mobile W500 Titan

  1. First, you need to download this. {LINK} It is SuperOneClick, but we will not use that for the main rooting as you just have to install that just to install the necessary drivers for your PC.
  2.  Download this also: Root_with_Restore_by_Bin4ry_v15.7z
  3. Extract the files inside.
  4. After that, connect your Cherry Mobile Titan phone and then run the *.bat file from the above zip archive.
  5. Wait for the process to finish. A couple of reboots will happen. After that, you now have a rooted Cherry Mobile Titan!
Enjoy!

Just to be sure that you had successfully rooted your device you can try downloading the Root Checker app from the Play Store. In case you are having problems with root access even you already successfully done the above procedures, you can try these:
  • update SuperUser/SuperSU <– this is Super User for ICS. Tested with my ZOPO ZP100 phone after I had done a similar rooting procedure using a *.bat file as well. I guess this has something to do with the binaries that needed to be updated.
  • install BusyBox.

Benefits of having a rooted Cherry Mobile Titan?

With a rooted device, you can now use apps that requires root access such as Titanium Backup, to remove bloatwares for saving memory and many more. However, your store warranty is voided by rooting so be aware.
Again, enjoy!
