As you probably know, the Samsung Galaxy Trends 2 Duos S7572 Android 4.1.2 update got recently released in China. Well, you will be happy to find out that it is now possible to update the device with a new verison of Jelly Bean, which is 4.1.2, based on the Jellybean Build JZO54K. The detailed name of the firmware is: ZCAMC1 Jellybean 4.1.2, firmware. If you still want to wait for the JellyBean 4.2.2, soon there will be an update available for the Galaxy Trend 2 Duos.

Next, you should check the battery life. It should be a minimum of 50% charged, otherwise you risk to start over the process. The device might get turned off in the middle of the steps and the system does not memorize the previous completed steps.

How to Update Samsung Galaxy Trends 2 Duos S7572 with ZCAMC1 Jellybean 4.1.2 Firmware
Step 1: The 2 tools you will need are the ZCAMC1 Jellybean 4.1.2 Firmware and the Odin. Be sure you download them on your computer from the provided links. After you download them, extract both files and open Odin in your computer.Step 2: Your phone should enter the Download Mode. In order to do this, turn off your phone and follow the instructions in order to enter the download mode in Galaxy Trend 2 Duos.: Press the Volume Down button at the same time with the Menu button. Hold them while you press the power button in order to boot the device in the Download Mode.
Step 3: You should have a USB cable which will help you connect the device to the computer. The ID: COM section will turn yellow, which indicates that all the drivers have been successfully installed.
Step 4: Next, click on the “PDA” in order to select the tar file which can be found in the firmware zip file. Then, proceed and click on “Start”. Once you do this, the firmware update process should automatically begin and will take around 4-5 minutes. Just sit and wait, you should do nothing else.
Step 5: After the firmware is applied accordingly, the device should reboot by itself. After the reboot is completed, you can check whether the update has been successfully updated by following the path: Go to Settings check the About Phone section and click on the Firmware version. The displayed firmware version should be Jellybean 4.1.2 ZCAMC1.
Note: Just in case the device will not boot or the home screen is showed after the installation, then all you have to do is remove the battery and re insert it in order to boot the device in the normal mode.
